Garage Sale

Our first Relay for Life fundraiser was a complete success! The Garage Sale raised $1927! Thank you for all the donations and help! It could not have been this successful without all the support everyone gave! Thank you to everyone who helped set up on Friday night and/or spent their Saturday helping!! Leave it to Chets Creek to surpass expectations!

Flip Flop Fridays

We have begun our first Relay for Life fundraiser! Every Friday, you can "legally" wear flip flops for a $1 donation. There will be a collection jar located by the sign-in book in the mail room. Thank you for supporting the American Cancer Society!

TEAM KICK-OFF

On Tuesday, October 28, at 6:00 p.m. there will be a Team Kick-Off at the Alimacani Elementary media center. If you are interested in starting a team, this is a great opportunity to come and find out more information about the Relay for Life event. Chets Creek teachers and staff will be one big happy team again this year! We are hoping that many of you will come out to join us at the Kick-Off! If you have a friend, neighbor, or family member interested in starting their own team, bring them along! We are hoping to have as many teams as possible this year. There will be invitations by the spotlight if you would like to take some to hand out to interested parties. We look forward to seeing you there!

Committee Rally

Thank you so much to Betsy McCall, Patricia Wallace, Cindy Tsengas, Ashley Russell, Lee Cordoza, Barbara Ellis, Beth Stresen-Reuter, and Dorry Lopez for taking the time to come out to our Relay for Life Committee Rally tonight! We are proud to say that we filled all but one of the positions available on the Committee. We are still looking for someone to fill the Advocacy chair, if anyone is interested, let us know and we can give you more information about what the position entails! We have had several offers from teachers, staff, etc. who are willing to help out with event. If you could not make it tonight or are not ready to take on a position, don't worry, there will be plenty of opportunities to help out with the event coming up. We will keep you updated with these events and information through this blog. The support that you have all shown for the Relay this year is tremendous and we can not thank you enough! We are very excited to bring the Relay to our school this year and make it a memorable event for all!

Committee Rally

On Wednesday, September 17th at 6:00 p.m. we will hold our Committee Rally in the Chets Creek conference room. Anyone interested in joining our commmittee is encouraged to join us!
